Clyde Ray Stacey

Clyde Ray Stacey, age 76, of Smyrna passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Murfreesboro.  He was born on April 30, 1948 to his parents, the late Abe & Cassie Simmons Stacey in Cannon County.

He is survived by his siblings, Ruby (Nick) Best of Murfreesboro & Sally Cantrell of Smithville. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Eva Potter, Viva Medders, Alice Parker, & James Stacey. 

Mr. Stacey was a member of the Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He was retired from the Construction industry.  He enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Graveside Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Gilley Hill Cemetery with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  His family will receive friends for the visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
