Clay Gentry

Clay Gentry, 57 of Smyrna TN, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was born in Davidson County.

He is survived by his children Lindsey (Dale) Fuhrer, Hunter Pate and Brian Gentry; grandchildren; Bentley Fuhrer, Holland Gentry and Lakelyn Gentry; siblings Bobby Teaney, Gary Teaney, Donna (Tim) Hill, Sam (Syndee) Gentry, Ricky Gentry, Pam Gentry, and Patricia (Brice) Poteete; nieces and nephews Bucky McMurty, Jeffrey and Hannah Gentry, Kristi and Alvin Deskins and his fur baby Harley.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Alvin Gentry and Elvena Gentry; siblings Bubba Gentry and Dean Gentry; nephews David Gentry and Wayne Deskins; grandparents Leighman and Hassie Todd.

A member of the Baptist church, Mr. Gentry loved fishing, riding his Harley and mostly spending time with his loved ones.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Friday, October 24, 2025, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will following at Center Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends for the visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service.
