Charles "Chuck" Denver Stacey, 87, of Baxter, TN. passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at St. Thomas Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN. Born in Nashville, TN., Chuck was the son of the late Robert Stacy and Daisy Winter Murray.
Mr. Stacey is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Theresa Mooney Stacey of Baxter; his two sons, Charles "Chuck" Edward Stacey and his wife, Tara of FL. and Sean Denver Stacey of OH., his two daughters, Christine McClaine of OR., and Trisha Malone of NC.; his brother, Terry Thomas and his wife, Monica of AZ. Also surviving are his 6 grandchildren.
A member of the Baptist church, Chuck was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for 8 years. He retired as a Deputy Sheriff in Okaloosa Co., FL. Mr. Stacey had the biggest heart. He even carried dog treats in his car for dogs he would meet along the way. He enjoyed bass fishing, playing poker with his friends, singing and playing guitar.
It was Mr. Stacey's wishes to be cremated.
