Charles "Ron" Chambers

Charles “Ron” Chambers, 64, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2023 at Acsension St. Thomas Stones River.  He was born August 5, 1959 in Middletown, CT, the son of the late Howard William Chambers and Martha Hartenbach Chambers. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanne, his sister, Patti, his brother, Mike, his son, Devin and stepchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Jessica, Michael and Brittany.  Also surviving are his wife’s grandchildren and he was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his brothers.

Ron graduated from high school in Dublin, Georgia.  Following graduation he served in the United States Army.  He worked for Republic services most recently and he retired in June.

He was very interested in sports.  However, he loved the Georgia Bulldogs which he displayed proudly on his truck and numerous tee shirts and jerseys. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  For those wishing to do so, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
