Bridget L. (Underwood) Duggin

Bridget L. Duggin, 52, of Woodbury passed away suddenly, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at St. Thomas Woodbury. She was born in Rutherford Co., the daughter of Barbara (Larry) Thomas of McMinnville and the late Nathaniel Underwood.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mitchell Duggin, Sr. of Woodbury; her children, Brittany Duggin (Jordan) of Woodbury, Brady Duggin (Adela) of McMinnville, stepson, Mitchell Duggin, Jr. of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Isaiah and Blazelan Cantrell, Mattalynn Dunn, Noah Merriman, Abigal and Daniel Duggin; siblings, Anthony (Jodie), Jared, Jordan and Jenna Underwood all of McMinnville, Chris Evans of AL., Mark (Christy) Thomas and Larry, Jr. (Julie) Thomas of Woodbury; uncles, Michael (Loretta) and Troy (Gina) Youngblood, David (Darlene) Underwood.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert (Alberta) Underwood, J.T. (Alice) Youngblood and uncles, Don and Jerry Underwood.

Bridget was a graduate of Cannon Co. High School, Class of 1991 and was baptized at Wood Church of Christ. She loved to care for others and got her CNA license. She enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking and playing games but most of all, she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and family.

The Duggin family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday, February 11, 2026 beginning at 8:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home.
