Brenda Hord Obituary

Brenda Sue LeFevers Hord, 74, passed away Mon., Feb. 18, 2019 at Manchester Health Care following an extended illness. She was a native of Ypsilanti, MI.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (David) Reynolds of Bradyville and Mary (Travis) Hancock of Smithville; grandchildren, Bridgette (Jay) Hargreaves, Todd Reynolds, Rachel (Justin) Mines, Cassie Anderson, Kelsey Logan (Erik Hughes) Devany Reynolds, Cody Duggin, Katie, James and Carter Hancock; sister, Cherrie LeFevers of WA. 7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyte and Mary Rogers LeFevers; husband, Gary Hord and son, Russell Hord.

Brenda worked for Ford Motor Company in Michigan and Walmart before retirement. She loved knitting and crocheting, going to the beach and working on puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be 4:30 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1 pm until 4:30 pm Sunday, February 24, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cannon Co. Arts Center.
