Brenda Sue (Carver) Burns

   Mrs. Brenda Sue Carver Burns, age 72, passed away Sunday January 18, 2026 following an extended illness.  She was a native of Wilson County but lived in Auburntown.  She was the daughter of the late Peyton Carver and Lula Belle Bennett Scott.

   Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Bobby Burns of Auburntown;  3 children, Tracey Lynn (Keith) Hannah, Mike Walpole and David Walpole all of Lebanon, and her siblings Kathy (David) Page and Ted Carver both of Mt. Juliet.  Also surviving are several nieces  and nephews..

   Mrs. Brenda was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church and a homemaker.  She was an extremely loving wife mother and a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and her flowers.

   Funeral services will 2:00 PM Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Prosperity Baptist Church, 45 Fites Lane Auburntown, TN.  37016, with Bro. David Moody officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Rick Burns, Timmy Burns, Clay Burns, Dan Kenworthy, Jacob Inman and Daniel Bowes.
