Obituary

Bonnie Pearl Stacy, 96, of Bradyville passed away at Community Care of Rutherford County, Tuesday, June 2, 2020.  She was born in Cannon County where she lived her entire life.

She was survived by a host of nieces and nephews who reside throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Also survived by a large extended church family who loved and cared for her as their own mother or grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom P. and Annie Stacy; brothers, Walter, Robert and Thomas Stacy; and sisters, Nora Mears and Violet Smith.

Bonnie was a long-time member of Jehovah Witnesses in Woodbury and was very faithful to attend.  She worked many different jobs from an early age and devoted years to caring for her aging parents, her sister Nora, and many other individuals who needed assistance.  She loved gardening, crochet, cooking for others, and keeping up with everyone by phone.  She also wrote an article for the Cannon Courier about the happenings in the Ivy Bluff community.  She will truly be missed by the many who knew her.

Due to the Covid-19 situation and Ms. Bonnie’s request for cremation.
