Bobby Steve Johnson

Bobby Steve Johnson, 58, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his home in Murfreesboro. He is the son of Steve Johnson of Murfreesboro and the late Cathey Sweeney Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan Preston Johnson of Murfreesboro; children, Matthew Johnson, Sr. and Myranda Johnson both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Jr., Hannah Johnson, Cayden Johnson, Aahminlyee Johnson, MyKinslyee Johnson and Hazen Lewis; siblings, Scottie Johnson and Michelle (Jeremy) Pittard both of Murfreesboro; half siblings, Kim Hoskins and Vicky Johnson both of Nashville.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob & Helen Johnson and Susie Sweeney.

Bobby was an automotive painter who loved spending time with his grandchildren, teasing them, fishing and he enjoyed tinkering with different things.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
