Billy Adcock Obituary

Billy Joe Adcock, age 71 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed January 8, 2025. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Nell Adcock. He graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro, class of 1972.

Later in life, Billy Joe moved to Woodbury and started his own business, Real Baits, because of his love for fishing. He was very successful in his manufacturing and selling of the fishing lures. He previously worked for Bass Pro, Dollar General, and retired from Ryder Truck Rental. Billy Joe will be deeply missed for his laughter and endless pranks! He had a genuine kindness and a love for life. Billy Joe is survived by cousins, friends and his faithful 4-legged companion, Duke.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
