Alvin Carl Jones

Alvin Carl Jones, 77, passed away Tues., February 04, 2020  at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness.  He was a native of Warren Co.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Opal Jones of Woodbury; son and daughter-in-law, Barry Lynn & Monica Jones of Woodbury; grandson, Brent Lynn (China) Jones of Woodbury; sister, Carolyn Diane (Ace) Boren of Warren Co.
 
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Major Jones & Lucille Williamson Jones; 3 brothers, Bobby Jones, Bennie Jones and Buddy Jones.
 
A member of the Woodbury United Methodist Church, Carl was a retired business owner and florist at Woodbury Flowers where he and his wife operated for 44 years.  He was a member of the B.O.C Cloggers and Square dancers where they traveled on many occasions with the Lions Club to international conventions.
 
Memorial Service will be 5 pm Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. David Lilley officiating.  Memorial visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 5 pm., Saturday.
