Alta Mae (Daniel) Maxwell

Alta Mae Daniel Jones Maxwell, 97, of Jackson, MI. died Tuesday, August 14, 2018.  She was a native of Cannon Co., TN.

She is survived by her son, Barry Jones of Jackson, MI.; daughter-in-law, Judy Jones of Canton, MI.; siblings, Shirley Whitaker of Franklin, TN. and Pat Medley of Fayetteville, Tn.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Daniel & Pearl Good Daniel; her husband, J. Bryant Jones; her son, James Jones; Siblings, Loretta Fann, Robert Daniel, Jim Daniel, Jr., B.F. Daniel and Betty Rigsby.
 
Ms. Maxwell was a member of the Baptist church.  She was a homemaker and worked as a Clerk at Sears for several years.
 
Funeral Services will be 12 noon Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10 am until 12 noon Saturday, August 18, 2018.
