Theresa Anne (Eden) Raines

Theresa Anne Eden Raines, age 75, of Woodbury passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at her home.  She was born on November 12, 1942 to the late Herman & Marie Nocton Eden in Davidson Co.  Ms. Raines was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ and was the owner of Raines Tax Service.  Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family & friends and loved to go camping.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Dump" Raines; Children, George L. "Bubba" Raines & Anne Anderson; and her sister, Catherine Wood.

She is survived by her children, Alfred "Tut" (Rhonda) Raines of Auburntown, Thad (Robin) Raines & Missy (Lee Wayne) Nichols, both of Woodbury; Son-in-law, Mickey Anderson of Auburntown; Grandchildren, Megan Myers, Russell Shelton, Daniel Carpenter, Jennifer Jones, Tori & Jake Raines, Dustin Nichols, Jason Holland, Phillip Miller, & Carri Gleason; and Special Friend, Buddy Alexander of Woodbury.  Eight Great Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Thursday, August 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Richardson & Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday, August 15 & 12 PM to 2 PM Thursday, August 16 at the funeral home.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
