Ronald C. Johnson, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford following an extended illness.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Barrett Johnson of Woodbury; Brother, Howard Lee (Eva Lois) Johnson of Woodbury; Stepdaughters, Tammy (Don) Southers, Regina (David) Loften and Christy (Bob) Ferrell; Step grandchildren,  Johnathan & Trenton Ferrell, Joy Woodman, Ashley Reed, Abigail Loften, Jenny Faye Gould, Allison Jones, Candace Guy, Angelica Joseph, and Kayla Haines; many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Overly Johnson & Mollie Davis Johnson; Step-Son, Charlie Joe Barrett; Brother, Robert Davis and Sisters, Jessie Mae & Josephine Johnson.  

He was a member of the Smithgrove Church of Christ, an electrician and a veteran of the Navy. Ronald enjoyed raising beagle dogs, hunting, fishing, playing Bluegrass Music, traveling and riding four wheelers. 

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Friday, June 02, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 8 pm Thursday, June 1, 2017.
