Robert Moore Obituary

Robert Allen Moore, 80, passed away Sun., Oct. 28, 2018 at his home. He was a native of Richmond, IN.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rebecca Slay Moore of Readyville; his children, Jeffery Moore of Zanesville, OH., Tammy McClellan of Zanesville, OH., Kathryn (Barry) Mershon of Murfreesboro, Thomas (Kelly) King of Hendersonville, NC, Shellie (Kevin) Hochstetler of Lascassas, Bobby (Christy) Moore of Murfreesboro; siblings, Ronald (Margie) Moore of Woodbury, Sandy Himelick of White House; 16 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren also survive

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Moore and Mary Ellen Wiser Moore.

A member of the Franklin Road Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force, Robert was a National Account Salesman for Old Dominion.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Franklin Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Garden Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am until 2 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Pallbearers include his grandsons, Taylor Mershon, Mason Moore, Alex Hochstetler, Chase Hochstetler, Mitch Schrock and Jeff Wood.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home or the family to help with funeral expense.
