Richard Ray "Dickie" Sissom

Richard Ray “Dickie” Sissom, Sr., 64, passed away Sat., October 27, 2018 at his home following an extended illness.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Geneva Sissom of Bradyville; his children, Angie (Jake) Istvanditsch of Bradyville, Richard Ray “Ricky” Sissom, Jr. of Centertown and Miranda (Michael) Byrd of Bradyville; grandchildren, Destinee, Dakotah, Emma, Kyle, Mallory, Kyle Michael, A.J., Lexie, Aiden and Sonnie; siblings, Diane Anderson of Manchester and Darlene (Frankie) Hill of Bradyville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth “J.T.” Sissom and Alvere Alford Sissom.
 
A member of the Cornerstone Community Church, Dickie was a machinist at Wertham Packaging Company. He loved to garden, fish and work on his farm but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
 
Funeral Services will be 12 noon, Tuesday October 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home Bro. Joe Sissom and Bro. Tim Alexander officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gilley Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm to 8 pm Monday, October 29, 2018.  Pallbearers include Jake Istvanditsch, Michael Byrd, Frankie Hill, Dakotah Byrd, James Bogle and Alex Anderson; Honorary Pallbearers,  Kyle, Kyle Michael, and A.J. Istvanditsch, Randy Farnsworth, Trenton Bynum, Colin Anderson, Kenny Gortney, Peyton Gortney, Logan Bogle, Bentley Loman, Jace Anderson, Levi Anderson, Noah Anderson, James Anderson, Ricky Sissom,
