Raymond Eugene Davy, Jr.

Raymond Eugene Davy, Jr., 38, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home.  A native of Davidson Co., TN., he lived in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Burdick of Murfreesboro; daughter, Abigal Davy and her mother, Michelle Davy both of Murfreesboro; Grandparents,   Al and Betty Davy of Murfreesboro; siblings, Steven (Kay) Davy of Murfreesboro, Billy (Mindy) Davy of Rockvale, Tina (Phillip) Butler of Texas; nieces and nephews, Gavin, Asher and Mason Davy, Kelsie, Morgan and Emily Davy, Vanessa and Ethan Butler; aunts and uncles, George (Marlyn) Burdick, Rick (Tera) Burdick, Gary Burdick, Pat (Jackie) Burdick, Carl (Cindy) Burdick, Janet (Walter) Dutton, Helen (Michael) Rogers, Les (Jill) Davy, Cindy (Jeff) Masters, Joey (Carolyn) Davy.  Also surviving are numerous cousins and close friends
 
He was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond Davy, Sr.; his aunt, Julia Burdick; Grandparents, Richard and Rose Burdick; his cousins, Mark Burdick and Owen Brown.
 
Raymond loved the Lord and attended World Outreach Church and Calvary Baptist Church.  On Sunday mornings, he and his mom would watch St. Edwards services on TV.  Raymond was a comedian at heart who loved spending time with his mom, his daughter and nephews.  He also loved to cook and bake.  Raymond loved football…”Roll Tide”.
 
Funeral Services will be 6 pm Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Deacon Pete Semich officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm until 6 pm Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
