Mamie Lusk Bell, 91, passed away Tues., August 01, 2017 at St. Thomas – Rutherford.  She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Deborah & Don Phillips of Woodbury; Step Grandchildren, Josh & Amber Phillips and Corey Phillips all of Manchester; Step Great Grandchild, Lukas Phillips; Several nieces and nephews also survive

Ms. Mamie was a member of the Centerhill Baptist Church and the election commission for over 50 years.  She worked in the office at Colonial Corp and was the Secretary for many years at the Cannon County Soil Conservation District.  Ms. Mamie was a sweet friend to many.  She got such joy in wishing friends and relatives happy birthdays and anniversaries on WBRY.  She also enjoyed when people would stop in for visits.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Laura Brown Lusk; her husband, Winfred Bell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Erin & Dorothy Lusk and James “Jim” & Ima Lusk. 
 
Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Cleo Moon officiating. Interment will follow in the Centerhill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm to 9 pm Friday, August 4, 2017.
