Leonard White Davis

Leonard White Davis, 77, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center.  He was a native of Cannon Co., and lived in Smithville.

He is survived by his wife, Mina Lou Reeves Davis of Smithville; sister,  Teresa Davis (Ellis) Brandon of Readyville; daughters, Scarlett Davis of Murfreesboro, Kelly McConnell and Denise Hollis both of Lebanon and Janet White of Alexandria; Step Son, Shea Parker of Mt. Juliet and Step Daughter, Shelley Ducharme of Murfreesboro;  grandchildren,  Cheyenne Bennett, Devlin Mullins, Jody Brummett and Katie Melton; great grandchildren,  Savannah Burns and Jasmine Melton. 7 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews also survive.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewin and Jimmie Mullinax Davis; brothers, Daniel Lee Davis and Van Boris Davis.
 
Known as the Mayor of Hidden Harbor Marina, Mr. Davis was a member of the Church of Christ.  He was a welder at Cummings Signs and MTSU where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, water skiing, his family and keeping up with his friends on Facebook.
 
Funeral Services will be 12 noon Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2019. After his services, Leonard’s wishes were to be cremated.
