Jo Helen Jones, age 79, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away at 8:40 AM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Logansport.

Born January 27, 1938, in Cannon County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lillard S. & Jessie (Campbell) McPeak.

On January 26, 1955 in Rossville, Georgia, she was married to U.L. Jones, who preceded her in death in 1993.

Jo was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Christian Church.  She enjoyed reading autobiographies.

Surviving are her son Gary J. (Marilyn) Jones of McMinnville, TN; her daughter, Melanie A. Jones of Lucerne; two brothers, Bill (Linda) McPeak of Woodbury, TN & Mark McPeak of Kokomo, Indiana; six grandchildren, U.L. (Stephanie) Jones, Jaime Jones, T.J. Jones, Lee Jones, Chellsie (Brian) Reed & Michael L. Jones, and 9 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Monday, July 24, 2017 in the Leoni Cemetery in Woodbury, Tennessee.
