Jewell Puckett Love, age 93, sweetly entered into the kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, March 12, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Lular (Ponder) Puckett, her loving husband, of 64 years, H. D. (Dee) Love, infant daughter, Linda Sue Love, brother, Harrison Puckett, sisters, Mattie Foster, Inez Frazier, Odell Elmore, Josie Beschoner, Hattie Jones, and Rhea Nell Parsley.
 
Surviving are her children, one son, Raymond Love and his wife Janey, three daughters, Ila Love Tidwell, Nancy and her husband, Jack Daniel, Ellen and her husband Scott Eggleston.  Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Dee Dee McElhaney, Bobby Davenport, and Jeremiah Love, 4 step grandchildren, Penny Sain, Nikki Langlois, and Zack and Cari Eggleston, 8 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. As the last standing Matriarch of the Puckett family, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
 
Jewell was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, affectionately known as "Mama Jewell."  She devoted her life to following Jesus and loving her family.  A retired beautician, she loved gardening, and at her death, she was the oldest member of Woodbury First United Methodist Church.
 
Visitation with the family will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 with Funeral services to follow at 1 pm at Woodbury United Methodist Church.  Bro. John Wesley Hembree and Bro. Scott Eggleston will officiate.  Interment will follow in Whorton Springs cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury United Methodist Church.
