James Lee Montgomery, 78, passed away Wed., August 16, 2017 at his home in Bradyville.  He was a native of West Virginia.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Markham Montgomery of Bradyville; Children, Jerry Waddell of New Orleans, Rosemary Waddell of Lebanon, Shirley Montgomery of Soddy Daisy and Danny Montgomery of Murfreesboro; Brother, Steve Montgomery of Alaska; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Montgomery and Mary Henderson Montgomery and daughter, Cynthia Lee Montgomery.
 
A member of the National Guard and NRA, Mr. Montgomery was a farmer.
 
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
