Dorothy Rhea Parker

Dorothy Rhea Parker, 92, passed away Sun., Feb. 04, 2018 at her home following an extended illness.  She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her 5 Children, Marilyn (Paul) Romero of Morrison, Johnny Parker and Tammy Barrett both of Woodbury, Norma Parker of Spring Hill, Delora (Gary) Bryant of Manchester; 13 Grandchildren, Bryan Hollis, April Harris, Amanda Hollis, Buddy Davis, Jesse Scott, Rachel Scott, Hollie Pelham, Logan Parker, Thomas Davis, Cullen Bryant and Christopher Lanier; 12 Great Grandchildren also survive.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Talmon Young Merriman; her husband, Thurston Parker; Children, Ronnie Parker & Winona Rains; Grandchildren, Oakley Scott and Andrew Bryant.
 
Ms. Dorothy was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ and was a retired LPN from Good Samaritan Hospital.  She like to sew, crochet and spend time with her animals.
 
Funeral Services will be 3 pm Wednesday, February 07, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Interment will follow in the Gilley Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 3 pm to 9 pm February 06, 2018.
