Wallace Winnett "Dad Dad" Parton, age 82, of Woodbury passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his children, Suzeann (David) Coffey of Smyrna, Holly (Tom) Genovese of Bradyville, Kim (Jeff) George of Eagleville, Lisa (Darrell) Adams of Readyville and their mother, Geraldine Parton of Readyville; Allison Parton of Woodbury, & Shannon (Casey) Garrett of McMinnville, and their mother, Sharon Parton McLemore of Smyrna; Brother, Gaylon (Mary Kate) Parton of Miami, FL; Grandchildren, Brian (Pamela) Coffey, Buck (Shae) Adams, Meagan Adams, Kayla George, Kelsey Wilson, Tamra Seiber, Cheyanne Lanphere, Ethan Basham, Emma Garrett, Erika Garrett, Jackie (Chris) Sommers, Thomas Genovese, & Patrick (Courtnie) Vest; Great Grandchildren, Ella Coffey, Katie Coffey, Ryan Sommers, Mason Vest, Brysen Vest, & Nolan Vest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon and Daisy White Winnett Parton.

Mr. Parton was a member of the Leoni Church of Christ.  He was a retired First Sgt. in the United States Army where he served in Korea and Vietnam.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Certified "Celebration of Life" Specialist Judy Duke, Gaylon Parton, & Harry Barnes officiating.  Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 3 PM to 9 PM Tuesday, December 6 & 10 AM until time of service Wednesday, December 7.
