Vernon Wade Campbell, age 83 of Woodbury, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2016 at his home.  He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his son, Larry (Vicky) Campbell of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Tabitha (Cody) Bogle of Woodbury and Terry (Dana) Campbell of Manchester; Sister, Joyce C. Parker of Woodbury; and Great Grandchildren, Dominick A. Campbell, Calvin Wade Bogle, and Chloe Jean Bogle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Spry Campbell; and parents, Clark & Alpha Duggin Campbell.

Mr. Campbell was a member of the Protestant Church and served in the Army.  He retired from Carrier Corporation where he was a purchasing agent.

Graveside services will be 9 AM Monday, August 29, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Hayes officiating.

At Mr. Campbell's request, there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adams Memorial Library or the charity of your choice.
