Richard Anthony Bogle, 48, passed away Tues., August 15, 2017 at Stones River Hospital E/R.  He born in Rutherford Co. and resided in Woodbury.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Amy Pelham Bogle of Woodbury; Mother and stepfather, Dean & Charles Vantrease of Auburntown; Sons, Richard Chase Bogle & Cameron Levi Bogle both of Woodbury; Siblings, Demetrius Bogle (Lenny Zellman) of Auburntown and Aaron (Heather) Vantrease of Woodbury; Mother-in-law, Joyce Pelham of Woodbury; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Terry (Sue) Pelham of Woodbury and Angela  (Billy) Rogers of Manchester; Special Uncle,  Freeman Crosslin of Woodbury; Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, A.G. & Otha Barrett Bogle; father-in-law, Jerry Pelham and special aunt, Louise Crosslin.
 
Richard was a member of the Dillon St. Baptist Church and was a truck driver.  If you knew Richard, you knew that he had a big heart and loved to help people.  He was known for his sense of humor and always had a smile on his face.
 
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Friday, August 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Patrick and Bro. Leonard Herman officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers include Billy Rogers, Terry Pelham, Aaron Vantrease, Jeff Fletcher, Charles Stephens, Dennis Ramsey, Craig Nichols, Micah Bogle, Larry, Gary, Joe & Jason Henderson  Visitation with the family will be from 3 pm to 9 pm Thursday, August 17, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunny Slope Baptist Church Building Fund, American Heart Assoc., American Diabetes Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
