John W. Bogle, Sr., departed life Sunday, September 17th, 2017, at 2:31 a.m. in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Bogle was born June 20, 1919 to Albert and Mae Bogle in Woodbury, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Louise Bogle; and daughter, Betty Jean Evans. He is survived by wife, Suder Bogle; one son, John W. Bogle, Jr. (Sharon); daughters, Joan Louise Tornquist (Carl) of Hot Springs, Ark., Marianne Bugg, of Warner Robins, Ga., Margaret Wilkenson (Winston), also of Warner Robins, Ga., and Marjorie Ruth Hooks of Vidalia, Ga.; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Bogle retired after 42 years of service at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Ga. and Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, Ala.

A visitation for Mr. Bogle will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Al.
