Janice Carol Shipp, 64, passed away Thursday, June 01, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford.  She was a resident of Cannon Co., TN.

She is survived by her parents, Martha & Bobby Barrett of Woodbury; her husband of 46 years, Ray Shipp of Woodbury; Children, Amy (Phillip) Parton and Kevin Shipp all of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Ally & Jacob Parton of Woodbury and Ashlee Gunter of Smithville; Siblings, Michael (Beverly) Barrett, Vickie Winfrey and Katrina Haston all of Woodbury; Sister-in-law, Ann (Larry) Chandler of Winchester. Many beloved nieces and nephews also survive
 
Janice was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon & Russell Fann and sister-in-law, Jane Tinkey.  She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ and a homemaker. Janice was a loving mother, wife and Nana. 
 

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday, June 05, 2017 at New Hope Church of Christ with Bro. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jacob Parton, Brett & Logan Trail, Derek Fann, Josh & Brady Smith, David & Cameron Goin. Honorary Pallbearers include Jerry Travis, Cricket Bryson, Melvin Davenport, Johnny Travis & Lee Evans.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm – 8 pm Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Woodbury Funeral Home, 615-563-2311 or www.woodburyfuneralhome.net. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
