James "Jim" Nelson Holden

James "Jim" Nelson Holden, age 70, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Peggy Douglas Holden of Woodbury; Daughter, Sandra (Joe) Henderson of Woodbury; Granddaughter, Jessica (Shane) Hollandsworth of Woodbury; Grandson, Mason Leonard of Woodbury; 2 Great Grandchildren, Everett Holden & Emersyn Jane Hollandsworth; Sister, Patricia Stephenson of Tullahoma.

Mr. Holden was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Oden and Miriam Bell Holden and his great granddaughter, Cadence Pearl Hollandsworth.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from Bell South and AT&T after 34 years.  Mr. Holden was a veteran of Vietnam where he served in the United States Army. He was an avid hunter.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Monday, February 5, 2018 at Miller Cemetery in Christiana, TN with Brother Herb Alsup officiating. Visitation with the family will be 11 AM until 1 PM Monday, February 5 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
