I never had the privilege to meet Bro. Dailey, but I am grateful to follow his footsteps in serving the congregation of Bell Springs UMC. My prayers and the prayers of the congregation of Bell Springs UMC are with the family.

This man was so important to my childhood growing up. He was my pastor, and my friend. He was always doing fun things with us kids; fish fries, scavenger hunt at his house, even taking us bowling in that old white van he had! I still have the video he made of our churches singing for Christmas as well as some of his singing he recorded. I had the surprise privilege of getting to see him again about 5 years or so ago at a nursing home when I worked with a podiatrist that attended to patients there. He remembered me, and we had a nice visit. I wish I had gotten to go back and see him again, but I will cherish that last visit, and all the things he did and taught me as I was a young child growing up in the Blanton's Chapel UMC. Heaven gained a special member! Prayers to the family in this difficult time.
