Frances (Hayes) Holt

Frances Hayes Holt, 88, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018  at NHC of Murfreesboro.  She was a native of Cannon Co and resided in Manchester. 

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Mack Holt of Ft. Laurderdale, FL., William Randy (Cheryl) Holt of Bradyville and Johnny Hayes Holt of Bradyville; Grandchildren,  Carmen Lee (Timmy) Rogers, Justin Horn (Paige) Holt, Thelma Gayle Choate, William Matthew Holt; Siblings, Margie DeBerry of Nashville and Lucian Hayes of Smyrna; Great Grandchildren also survive.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Goble Hayes and Gertie Bryant Hayes; her husband of 60 years, Mack Holt and her siblings, Edith Harris, Elizabeth LeFevers and Rod Hayes.
 
Ms. Frances was a member of the New Union Church of Christ, previously worked at Colonial and was retired from G.E. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and helped her husband on the farm.  She enjoyed housekeeping, yardwork, cooking and traveling. 
 
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Wednesday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.  Interment will follow in the Thyatira Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
