Curtis Joel Davenport, 61, passed away Sun., December 24, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.  A native of Rutherford Co., he lived in Woodbury.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Kathryn “Kathy” Conner Davenport of Woodbury; Parents, Marvin & Ruth Patrick Davenport of Auburntown; Children,   Teresa (Patrick) Smith and James (Kristin) Davenport all of Woodbury; Brother, Mitchell (Veronica) Davenport of Hoover, AL.; Nephews and Niece, Kelsey & Caleb Davenport, Chad Conner, Johnathan (Crystal) Conner, Danielle (Phillip) Smith and Austin Conner; 2 Honorary Grandchildren, Elise & Maria Coleman; 4 great nieces and nephews also survive.
 
He was a member of the Forest Mill Baptist church and he was a Communication Specialist at State Farm for 33 years.
 
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Davenport & Bro. Ray Patrick officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm till 8 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
