Cherie Ann Batey, age 61, of Woodbury passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home.  She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Roger Batey of Bradyville; Son, Brian Keith Batey of Bradyville; and Sister, Peggy (Ray) Barton of Readyville.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Batey was a member of the Simmons Chapel Methodist Church and was a housewife.  She also worked in retail sales.  She was a loving wife and a wonderful mother.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Wheeler officiating.  Interment will follow at Batey Family Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM to 9 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
