Charles Wade Alexander, age 55, of Woodbury passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.  He was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors include his mother, Claudette Bowen Alexander of Readyville; Children, April Alexander (Joe Lorance) of Readyville & C.W. Alexander of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Jacob, Kayne, & Lilee Lorance; Brother, Claude (Traci) Alexander of Readyville; and Sister, Cynthia (Sastri) Alexander Kodavanti of Readyville.  Several nieces and nephews and Foster Child also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Alexander.

Charles was a member of the church of Christ and was owner and operator of Charles' Wrecker & Automotive Service.  He was also a member of the Cannon County High School Football Booster Club.  Charles enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed spending his time at the lake, mud bogs, and four-wheeling.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Bowman officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at the funeral home.
