Catherine Anne Payne Smith, 58, who passed away Wednesday, April 06, 2016 at St. Thomas Stones River following an extended illness.  She was a native of Old Hickory, TN. and lived in Woodbury.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jeffery Smith of Woodbury; 4 Children, Glen (Jordan) Smith of Lebanon, Jenny (Jeremy) Hurd of LaVergne, Penny (Chase) Lewis of Woodbury and Katie Smith of Atlanta, GA.; Grandchildren:  Mykal, Peyton, Jade, Elijah, Ashlynn, Harper, Christopher and Logan; Mother, Emily Kelly of Smyrna; Siblings, Carl Payne and Sharon Payne both of Smyrna.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Payne and her siblings, Judy Denny and Christopher Payne. She was a homemaker.

Memorial Services will be 2 pm Sunday, April 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Jones officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 12 noon until 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
